The war memorial at Marthall is a simple but poignant cross and stands in neatly manicured gardens in a peaceful corner of the village. Part of the national war memorial caching series, this is a multi-cache and so the cache is not hidden at the listed coordinates. If you visit the coordinates you will find a text inscription at the base of the cross followed by a list of names. Use this information to give you numbers represented by A–F as follows:
A = Number of letters in the second word of the text
B = Number of letters in the eighth word of the text
C = Number of letters in the eleventh word of the text
D = Number of Baskervilles
E = Number of Bebbingtons
F = Number of Bowers

Due to the proximity of other caches in the village, the final location is a short walk away but is still conveniently placed if you have used the parking waypoint in the listing.
