About the AL
Ā Ā
Ever wonderedĀ what may beĀ hidden within the more than 4,500 native trees š² and 135,000 native shrubs/groundcovers š±Ā around our Federal Parliament House Canberra?
ThisĀ walk takes you throughĀ nine hectares of native gardens that surrounds the eastern, southern, and western side of Parliament House. The ALĀ reveals the sporting venues š šĀ ā½ļø š¾ š that have been skilfully hidden within nature.
In addition, there is the beautiful forecourt's Indigenous mosaicĀ (R1), and the formal gardensĀ (R0) to discover on your way around. You may even spot aĀ famous politician enjoying theseĀ facilities. If so, please let us know in your log!Ā Maybe add a photo or twoĀ to encourage others here.
The sporting facilities are open for the public to visit. However, you must be an 'eligible pass holder' to use them. In other words, you will need to becomeĀ a federalĀ politician or a staff member working up on the hill to enjoy these privileges! Ā WillĀ you beĀ inspired?
