SideTracked 2022 - Malton - 15th Anniversary Event Cache

The event will run for half an hour from 12.00pm until 12.30pm on Tuesday 9th August 2022 to meet other cachers and chat about geocaching in the local area. We will meet at the public seating area.

Malton Station is much reduced from former glories where it is now a single platform, previously it had two and was once an interchange of three lines to Scarborough, Pickering and Driffield. It boasted some 300 staff who worked at the station and adjacent railway works. The signal box overlooking the junction is the remains of once two boxes that controlled a busy railway junction.
