Slēpnis novietots vietā, kur parasti sastopami maz cilvēku, kamēr apkārt paveras daudz interesantu objektu. Uz dienvidiem - Torņakalna dzelzceļa stacija, kas sakarā ar "Rail Baltica" atzara uz lidostu izbūvi, tiks pārcelta par 200 m uz Daugavas pusi. Veco ēku pārvietos tālāk no sliedēm un tajā ierīkos muzeju (izmantojiet iespēju apmeklēt to, kamēr stacija vēl atrodas iepriekšējā vietā!) Aiz stacijas atrodas Komunistiskā terora upuru piemiņas vieta. Vēl tālāk uz dienvidiem var pamanīt Rīgas Lutera draudzi. Uz ziemeļiem no slēpņa atrodas dzelzceļa muzejs, kur var ne tikai aplūkot iekšējo ekspozīciju, bet arī paložņāt pa ārā atrodamajām lokomatīvēm un vagoniem. Aiz muzeja atrodas visiespaidīgākā ēka - Latvijas Nacionālā bibliotēka, kas ārēji atgādina stikla kalnu. Iekšā parasti var ne tikai doties savas mīļākās grāmatas meklējumos, bet arī apmeklēt istādes. Ziemeļaustrumu virzienā var redzēt diezgan iespaidīgu ēku kompleksu - Latvijas Universitāti. Pirmā ēka no kreisās puses skaitot saucas Dabas māja jeb Dabaszinātņu akadēmiskais centrs. Otrā ēka - Zinātņu māja jeb Latvijas Universitātes Zinātņu centrs. Tuvākajā laikā tiks uzcelta arī trešā ēka - Rakstu māja.

To the south - the Torņakalna railway station, which due to the construction of the "Rail Baltica" branch to the airports, will be moved 200 m to the Daugava side. The old building will be moved away from the tracks and a museum will be installed (take the opportunity to visit it while the station is still in its former location!) Behind the station is a memorial to the victims of Communist terror. Even further to the south, you can see the Riga Lutheran Church. To the north of the cache is the railway museum. Behind the museum you can find the most impressive building - the National Library of Latvia, which outwardly resembles a mountain of glass. In the northeast direction, you can see a complex of buildings - the University of Latvia. The first building from the left is called the Nature House, or the Academic Center of Natural Sciences. The second building - the House of Science or the Science Center of the University of Latvia. In the near future, a third building will also be built - the House of Writings.
