[LV] Ogres ieleja (dabas parks) ir viena no neregulētajām upju ielejām Latvijā - nozīmīga vieta bioloģiskās daudzveidības saglabāšanai, kur sastopami dažādi un reti biotopi gan Latvijas, gan arī Eiropas mērogā. Nesen kā (2021. gadā) šajā vietā ir veikti labiekārtošanas darbi - viens no piemēriem ir uzbūvētais trošu tilts pār Ogras upi.
Tilts nosaukumu ieguvis dokumentālā raidījuma “Tas notika šeit” filmēšanas laikā. Katrā raidījumā vēsturnieki ieradās maz zināmā Latvijas pagastā, meklējot aizraujošus stāstus. Mazozolu pagastā vēsturnieku uzmanību piesaistīja leģenda par kļūdainā vietā uzceltu tiltu. Tas esot projektēts Ogres pilsētas kūrortam, bet aiz pārpratuma uzbūvēts citā vietā, netālu no Ogresmuižas. Raidījuma gaitā vēsturnieks Edgars Plētiens apgāza šo leģendu un ieteica nosaukt 2021. gadā uzbūvēto trošu tiltu par Senogres tiltu, lai Ogres nosaukumi nekad vairs netiktu sajaukti.
Publicētajās koordinātās ir iespējams atstāt automašīnu. Lai atrastu slēpni, būs jāatbild uz dažiem jautājumiem un jāsarēķina fināla koordinātas. Īpaši patīkams šis slēpnis varētu būt velo braucējiem, taču arī visus pārējos sagaida jauka pastaiga pa Ogres ieleju. Ja ir tāda vēlme un nepieciešamība, tad ar auto pa tīri labu ceļu (šī ir tā reize, ka ceļš dabā izskatās labāk nekā ortofoto, nevis otrādāk) var piebraukt arī no otras puses - ceļš atrodams dažādās kartēs. Protams, slapjākā laikā var būt nepieciešams kaut kas jaudīgāks par pislētas priekšpiedziņu.

[EN] Ogres ieleja (Ogre Valley) is one of the unregulated river valleys in Latvia, a significant place for the preservation of biological diversity, where various and rare biotopes can be found both in Latvia and in Europe. Recently, in 2021, landscaping works have been carried out in this area - one example is the construction of a footbridge over the Ogre River.
The bridge received its name during the filming of the documentary "It Happened Here". In each episode, historians visited a little-known Latvian parish in search of exciting stories. In the parish of Mazozoli, the historians' attention was drawn to the legend of a bridge built in the wrong place. It was supposedly designed for the resort town of Ogre but was built in another location, near the Ogre Manor House, due to a misunderstanding. During the show, historian Edgars Plētiens debunked this legend and recommended naming the footbridge built in 2021 as the Senogres Bridge so that the names of Ogre would never be confused again.
The published coordinates provide a parking spot. To find the cache, you will need to answer a few questions and calculate the final coordinates. This cache could be especially enjoyable for cyclists, but also for anyone else who enjoys a nice walk in the Ogre Valley. If necessary, it is possible to reach the cache by car from the other side of the valley via a good road (this is one of those rare occasions when the road looks better in nature than on the orthophoto map). Of course, in wet weather, something more powerful than a city car may be required.
