Geocache Description:

Number 1676 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

There aren't many of the Fine Pair series North of The Border and when I realised that these could be photographed together (just) I decided that the number should be added to. Due to other caches being nearby the final is about 1 mile by road (not always footpathed) away, at a location with some parking and a lovely woodland to wander.

Final location.

N55 51.ABC W003 39.DEF:

A = Number of words in the last line of the poem on the phonebox

B = Number of words in the first two lines of the poem on the phonebox

C = On the postbox you will find that the last collection in the area is made from C Inchmuir Road

D = There are 2 phone numbers on the postbox. 3rd digit minus 2nd (either number works)

E = Number of words in the 2nd and 3rd lines of the poem on the phonebox.

F = Back to the phone numbers on the postbox. 2nd digit plus 4th digit (either number works).

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via geocachingafinepair@gmail.com to have yours added
