Finally, the long-awaited Elizabeth line is opening in May 2022. This event celebrates the opening and takes place on the first Saturday that the line is open to the public.
We Geocachers like trains. We'll meet under the glass canopy in the public area between the Paddington mainline and Elizabeth line stations; there's no requirement to buy a ticket to attend this event.
There's a new Elizabeth line Adventure Lab to coincide with opening too, all locations of which are at street level without crossing the gateline, so it's theoretically possible to do without taking any journey on a new purple train; however, that won't be quite as fun!
