** The coordinates originally given was for where the speeches were being given. I have moved them to where the tent is.**
The town of Chester is turning 300 this year. The town is putting on some awesome activites, including a special historical geocache series. The first 50 Geocaching families/people to finish the series can receive a special commemerative geocoin. **We are asking only 1 per family, so that we can spread the geocoins out to more participants.** The official date for the series to begin is May 8th.
This event coincides with Chester's Proclamation Day. There will be speechs, food, a time capsule, and a historical encampment. We will have a table there to show what Geocaching is and try to catch up with Geocachers we haven't seen in awhile. What we would like is for people to bring different types of geocaches to show to the public. We will also have a spot for travel bugs to be traded and shown off.
Hope to see you there!!
