treboR on tour is heading to the north tonight with my caching compatriot, the legend that is Hilgorilla and will need feeding so we've decided to stop in this historic town on the way.
We'll be having a bite to eat at
The crossing point cafe
Which is on the square in the town.
Parking can be tricky in the town so give yourself time to find a space.
If the cafe is full or closed for any reason we'll be under the spectacular market cross structure outside the cafe.
Please come and join us, food and drink is not required.
There will be a logbook to sign, again not compulsory and I'll do the usual raffle for FTF.
I'll not bore you with info about the town but one little nugget I did spot was ;
John Townson, was constabell for the year, 1662, I can only assume that he was employed by the estate that owned the surrounding land at the time. I don't thik he was a relative of mine since most of my family at the time lived in Silsden and were farmers.
So let's hope that you can find time to meet and see you there.
