Welcome to the Snail Trails, GEO-ART in the area of Sabile and Abava valley! Why snail? Because Sabile has vineyard that is full of winesnails, also known as escargots. On top of that, winesnail is depicted in the coat of arms of Abava parish. And snail just looks good on the map! 🐌

The snail was floating down the Īvande river and figured out that this should be around the closest spot from water to the geocache that he wanted to visit. He made projection 288,5 degrees and after few days of bushwhacking he reached the cache 1136,75 metres away from here. Just follow him!
