Lebensraum Kirchturm in der Versöhnungskirche

Ein Multi mit zwei Stages und Final um die Versöhnungskirche in Garching, geschätzte Dauer ca. 10 Minuten.
Das Kirchengelände muss zu keiner Zeit betreten werden. Die Tore sind meist verschlossen. Die zur Kirche gehörigen Parkplätze können außerhalb der Gottestdienstzeiten genutzt werden.
Informationen zur Kirche
Die Kirche wurde 1966/1967 nach den Plänen eines Münchner Architekten erbaut. Die Bauform ähnelt einer Festung mit verputzter Fassade und teilweise schießschartenförmiger Fenster. Die bewusst schnörkellos gewählte Architektur in Kombination mit der Lage am Waldrand verstärken die ruhige Ausstrahlung dieser Kirche.
2017 wurde die Kirche umfangreich renoviert und dabei sowohl der Kirchengarten als auch der Kirchturm zusammen mit dem NABU und LBV zu einem Ruheort auch für Tiere, Insekten und Vögel umgestaltet. Um die im Glockenturm eingezogenen Schleiereulen zu schützen, wurden laut NABU die Glocken stillgelegt und auf traditionelles Geläut wird zugunsten einer zeitgemäßeren Rücksichtnahme auf Mensch, Natur und Umwelt verzichtet.
Seit 2007 wurden deutschlandweit bereits über 1000 Kirchtürme ausgezeichnet. Die anderen in den umliegenden Landkreisen ausgezeichneten Kirchtürme gehören zur Filialkirche Bergham bei Polling (LKR Mühldorf) und zur Kirche St. Martin in Holzhausen (LKR Miesbach). Um auf die Bemühungen des NABU und dem LBV zusammen mit den Kirchengemeinden aufmerksam zu machen, ist dieser Multi entstanden.
Stage 1: am Haupttor

An der Nordseite des Kirchenschiffes ist ein großes und mehrere kleine, schartenförmige Fenster.

Stage 2: am hinteren Tor
Blicke durch das Tor und zähle die Fensterscheiben im großen Fenster am Gemeindesaal rechts oberhalb der Eingangstür.

The habitable steeple in the Church of Reconciliation
A multi with two stages and final around the Church of Reconciliation in Garching, estimated duration approx. 10 minutes.
The church grounds do not have to be entered at any time. The gates are mostly closed. The parking spaces belonging to the church can be used outside the service times.
About this church
The church was built in 1966/1967 according to the plans of a Munich architect. The building resembles a fortress with a plastered facade and partially embrasure-shaped windows. The deliberately unadorned architecture combined with the location on the edge of the forest enhance the tranquil aura of this church.
In 2017, the church was extensively renovated and both the church garden and the steeple were redesigned together with NABU and LBV to become a resting place also for animals, insects and birds. According to NABU, in order to protect the barn owls that have moved into the bell tower, the bells have been shut down and traditional ringing is being dispensed with in favour of a more contemporary consideration for people, nature and the environment.
Since 2007, more than 1000 steeples across Germany have already received this award. The closest steeples awarded in the surrounding districts belong to the Bergham Filial Church near Polling (Mühldorf district) and the Church of St. Martin in Holzhausen (Miesbach district). This multi was created to draw attention to the efforts of the NABU and LBV together with the local church communities.
