Geocache Description:

26 March 2022, 12:00 - 12:30

Starting up my occasional series of event caches, least used stations meets geocaching again

i've done Elton & Orston in Notts, Dove Holes in Derbyshire with some creative licence - then covid hit meaning my Lincolnshire & Warwickshire events couldn't go ahead

might as well plough on with Staffordshire !

22 stations in this county, and this is the least used with around 50k per year

station comes complete with a help point, information screens and a few trains per hour

some on street parking nearby and handy access for the A50 here - the most used station being about 3 miles south of here in Stoke

EVENT FORMAT

1200hrs - turn up, mill around, admire the station, sign the optional log book and have some geonatter

Trackables welcome, those that are too big may not be accepted unless they are pink fluffy unicorns or dinosaurs - in which case no problem

in the unlikely event of rain we can decant to the bus shelter nearby....i might even have a few wood coins to hand out to those hardy enough to venture out into a british springtime which often includes snow, rain and sunshine - sometimes all at the same time

1230hrs - depart, either on foot, horseless carriage or maybe even train if your feeling up to the challenge
