Die Stiftsbasilika St. Martin in Landshut wurde im Jahr 1500 nach etwa 120 Jahren Bauzeit fertig gestellt.
Im Innern finden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Chorbogenkreuz, das Chorgestühl, die Leinberger-Madonna und das Kastulusfenster, das die Gesichtszüge einiger Nazi-Größen erkennen lässt. In einem Schrein ruhen die Reliquien des Hl. Kastulus. Ein Besuch der Kirche ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Der Turm hat außer den großen Uhren mit Zeigern auch drei Sonnenuhren, jeweils eine auf der Ost-, Süd- und Westseite. Auf der Nordseite findet man eine Mondphasenuhr. Insgesamt 12 Glocken befinden sich im Turm.
Bei einer Umrundung kann man Grabsteine des ehemaligen Martinsfriedhofs und Inschriften sehen.

Um den Cache zu loggen zu dürfen, füge deinem Logeintrag ein Foto bei, das an den gelisteten Koordinaten (vor dem großen Eingangsportal) gemacht wurde, auf welchem sowohl der gesamte Turm als auch dein Cachername auf einem Zettel zu sehen ist. Gerne kannst du auch zwei Fotos anhängen, eins mit dem Turm und eins mit deinem Cachernamen auf einem Zettel vor dem Portal.
