About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breathtaking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. The Cache is not placed in Park and Ride site.
However it's the best place to Park.
This Station is currently under construction, a single platform station on the grounds of the Park and ride.
Located on the Severn Beach line between Avonmouth and Shirehampton.
It will be operated by GWR and existing services will stop here.
Services to Avonmouth every half hour extending to Severn Beach every hour.
Also Bristol Temple Meads every half hour extending to Weston Super Mare every hour.
It is the first station to be built in Bristol since Parson Street in 1927 and is expected to open in the summer.
This is part of the Metro west scheme that will in future see more stations and transport hubs in Bristol in the coming years.
The Parking is free and offers more secure parking than Avonmouth and Shirehampton have to offer and much more direct access from the M5.
