Geocache Description:

I have fancied putting togehter a geo art for a while now & being as the old series is a bit tired, had a chat with USAndy to do this re-run. This is a one of a series of 50 puzzle caches that will take you around the town of Thornbury. All puzzles are so easy to solve we have made the D rating a 1 on most, as the hides are easy to find as well.

All the caches are to do with the USA and will give you info on all the states.

To help you navigate the public footways around this area, the Explorer 167 map will be helpful.

The whole walk in one go will be no less than 12 miles, depending on other caches you can grab on the way round. There is a bonus cache as before.

Please see number 1 USA Mega series re-run #1; Alabama for car parking, if you need it.

Did you know……...

1) Delaware shares a semi-circular border with Pennsylvania. The border was drawn at the time of the original land grants to William Penn from King Charles II and the Duke of York.

2) Fisher's popcorn is a famous coastal caramel corn. It has been ordered from as far away as Vietnam and Indonesia.

3) In total area Delaware ranks 49th in the nation. It contains 1,982 square miles. It is 96 miles long and varies from 9 to 35 miles in width.

4) Twelve concrete observation towers along the coast were constructed during World War II to protect the state's coastal towns from German u-boat attacks.

5) Delaware is the only state without any National Park System units such as national parks, seashores, historic sites, battlefields, memorials, and monuments.

To solve this one name the state Flower.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast. There is a stats listing, so you can see how many Little Bridges you have found, you can find it HERE . If you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan via the Little Bridges website with your caching name, name of your Little Bridge and the GC code and he will give you a number for your bridge. To qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches "Little Bridges # xxxx then the name" including spaces so it will get picked up and added to stats list.
