Stay Safe While Doing Indoor and Outdoor Activities with Others

Here are safer ways to enjoy Indoor and Outdoor Activities with Others :

Generally:

Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from other people, especially if you are at higher risk of getting very sick.

Cover coughs and sneezes If you are wearing a mask: You can cough or sneeze into your mask. Put on a new, clean mask as soon as possible and wash your hands. If you are not wearing a mask: Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use the inside of your elbow and do not spit. Throw used tissues in the trash. Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

You May Choose to Wear well-fitting masks over your nose and mouth if you are in public indoor settings and you are not fully vaccinated. Even those who are fully vaccinated may choose to wear a mask in public indoor settings in communities with substantial to high transmission. Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread virus.

Watch for Symptoms:

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms.

People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

Fever or chills

Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fatigue,

Muscle or body aches

Headache

New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.

If you are sick or have symptoms, Please don’t attend a gathering.

You might consider Testing Witch can give you information about your risk of spreading COVID-19.

If You Consider using a self-test before joining indoor gatherings with others who are not in your household. A positive self-test result means that you have an infection and should avoid indoor gatherings to reduce the risk of spreading disease to someone else.

A negative self-test result means that you may not have an infection. Repeating the test with at least 24 hours between tests will increase the confidence that you are not infected.

Ask your healthcare provider if you need help interpreting your test result

It is not necessary to buy anything to participate
