Once again, we have been asked by the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation to help with cleaning an area that they identified as needing help. The area this time will be near Downriver Golf Course from the disc golf course to the bottom of Pettit Drive. There will be parking at the disc golf course and the side gate, which is listed as the parking coordinates for the event. The lower paved parking lot near the river was previously plowed in, but may be accessible by the time we meet for this event. Please park were available and we will meet at the listed/parking coordinates at the gate to start the event.
I know this is a hard request for us to accomodate in the winter, but we will attempt to clean what we can and park as close to the area identified. We will use the Little Garden Cafe to host a coffee meet-up after the event for anyone who would like to warm up and continue the conversation after the event. Coordinates for the cafe have been posted as well and it is located at 2901 W Northwest Blvd.
The event will be on Sunday January 30th from 2pm - 3pm with coffee to follow and the cafe closing at 4pm.
