Well, we blew it. It was too late to create an event for the 3rd Tuesday (1/18/2022) by the time we got around to realizing it. So for one time only (hopefully) this event will actually be held on the 4th Tuesday not the third.
Hi there fellow cachers! Hopefully 2022 finds you well. At the last 3TIE we had an outstanding presentation by our Maryland reviewer FrancisScottKey. Our thanks to both of them for attending the event, for their presentation and for the incredible hard work they put in for the benefit of us all.
Now it's time for the 91st edition of 3TIE. We all probably need a pickup of sorts at this time and so it seems like a very good thing to get together and chat about whatever, but especially our mutual interest - Geocaching. The plan for this month is for each of us to discuss our favorite cache for the previous year 2021. Not a requirement to attend by any means, but we think that we'd all enjoy hearing about your Favorite. If you participate, review your 2021 finds, select your favorite, and come with the GC code and perhaps a printout if that would help. Finally, when you submit your "will attend" log, please include the number of caches you found and the number you hid in 2021. The intent is not to glorify nor shame but instead it's to determine total hides and finds for the group which will undoubtably be quite large and therefore an encouragement to us all. For starters, tomulus & MSt found 629 caches and had 7 hides (including events). Thanks and see you at 3TIE on 1/25/2022! (Got it, right?)
