Come out and help me celebrate my birthday with the 10th "Let's Get Tropical" event here at Dawn's! These days I figure we should take any chance to celebrate that we can. Plus, given the weather lately, it'll be a good opportunity to pretend we're somewhere far away and warm! The event will be held at:

On Saturday, January 29th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm (we may be there longer!).
My past events here have been well received by the geocaching community; it's been awesome to see a bunch of familiar faces, and to meet some new cachers as well! Hopefully you're able to come out and enjoy some good company, a tropical atmosphere, and some tasty drinks!
IMPORTANT: Dawn's Beach Hut is a 21 and over bar that specializes in tropical drinks (think pina colada type), although they do have the regular stuff as well. There is a limited food menu, mostly appetizers. Unfortunately, if you are under 21 or are with someone under 21 you won't be allowed inside for insurance reasons. However, since geocaching is a family activity, if you come by while the event is going on I'll be happy to let you log it and hopefully we can have a little chat :)
Additionally, all applicable local and/or state mandates (pertaining to COVID-19 or otherwise) that are in effect at the time of the event will need to be followed! Each geocacher/muggle attending is responsible for knowing these mandates and making sure they are able to follow them. As always, geocache at your own risk - neither the CO nor the hosting establishment are responsible for any injury or illness to any individuals prior to, during, or after the event.
