To celebrate Geocaching Village Hall Week

Buchan Street Neighbourhood Centre, Cambridge
For this CITO, we will do a litter pick at the Pulley, a large green space adjacent to the Buchan Street Neighbourhood Centre.
We'll meet outside the Neighbourhood Centre just before 1000 to sign the log.
At 1000hrs the Community Engagement Officer, Chris Clements will deliver a Health and Safety briefing. Chris will also bring along an image consent form so that the council can take some photos on the day.
We will then make the very short walk down to the Pulley for the litter pick.
After the CITO is finished, there is a community cafe at the published coordinates, where everyone is welcome to join.
Chris will provide all equipment required, (litter pickers, hi viz vests and bags) but if you'd prefer to bring your own, you are very welcome to.
Please also wear appropriate clothing and sensible footwear. The event will proceed in any weather unless there are high winds or storms. If the event is cancelled for any reason, I will make an announcement accordingly.
I anticipate this CITO will have appropriate tasks for almost any ability level.
IMPORTANT:
Please indicate your ‘will attend’
...so we have an idea of numbers and you will receive any updates to proceedings. Experience has shown this is often the case!
Parking
There is free parking available at the neighbourhood centre or at the additional car park (both indicated on the cache waypoints.) Please note, wherever you park, the CITO begins at 1000 at the neighbourhood centre.
Health and Safety
All health and safety rules apply. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
Chris will provide the H&S briefing at the neighbourhood centre at 1000.
