We held CITO events here a few times before that went pretty well, so we thought it might be a good idea to have another CITO before the nearby MAGC event to give some volunteers a chance to join together to do some clean up. The posted coordinates will have ample parking available on a Saturday morning and it's a good place to meet and then hit the trail.
Going off the trail during this time of year may be icy and slippery. Please wear appropriate clothing and be careful.
We'll bring some trash bags and bottled water. Bring your own gloves and grabbers if you have them. There might be some fairly large objects, so teamwork might be required to get some of the trash out. We'll coordinate that as needed.

All geocachers are welcome to this event! This is an opportunity to gather and enjoy the camaraderie of the Northern Virginia chapter of the Military Association of Geocachers (MAGC) and serve the community at the same time. This organization is open to all military veterans and their family members as well as any other geocachers interested in supporting our military. Everyone is welcome!
MAGC is dedicated to helping military members get to know their area through Geocaching and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow service members.
