This will be a glorious meet-and-greet event at the Land Trust of North Alabama at Rainbow Mountain Trailhead, after which those willing will ramble about the trails. The event log will be open from 08:00 to 08:30 at which time we'll begin the ramble. I intend to do at least one, full circuit of the Rainbow Loop, Spring Loop, and Jamooko Trail, which if memory serves, is slightly longer than two miles. Should the need arise, I can carry four people in my backpack if I drop my boombox. At this time, I can neither confirm nor deny that Led Zeppelin's Ramble On will be the theme song for this event
NOTE: These trails are moderately challenging, but can be quite slick at times. I highly recommend a hiking pole and caution where you step. I'll have a couple of spares with me.
