[LV] Līdēres pamestā jeb Kristus piedzimšanas pareizticīgo baznīca. Kā stāsta interneta resursi, tad baznīca uzcelta 1878. gadā, taču pagājušā gadsimta vidū pareizticīgo draudze šajā apkārtnē pakāpeniski ir iznīkusi un baznīca atstāta novārtā. Protams, tai sekoja jebkuras pamestas ēkas liktenis - izlaupīta un izdemolēta. Pēc citiem informācijas avotiem var noprast, ka kādā brīdī (90. gadu vidū) draudzes savu darbību ir atsākusi un pamesto ēku ir bijusi vēlme sakopt un atjaunot, taču šī ideja tik pat ātri ir apsīkusi nepietiekamu naudas līdzekļu dēļ. Šobrīd draudze vēl joprojām pastāv, taču laikam jau tikai formāli, jo par dievkalpojumiem vai citādu aktīvu darbību nekādas informācijas nav.
Ar šo slēpni es vēlos parādīt to, kas līdz mūsdienām šeit saglabājies. Lai arī izlaupīta pirms 60 gadiem, te vēl ir ko redzēt. Izturamies ar cieņu un pietāti pret to, kas palicis pāri. Ar kāpšanu līdz zvana torņa augšai - nu ļoti uzmanīgi. Pēdējais posms izskatās, ka turas kopā tikai uz goda vārda, es neriskēju kāpt bez drošinājumiem. Diemžēl, bet neilgi pēc slēpņa izlikšanas, baznīcas durvīm pielikta klāt jauna atslēga. Lai arī baznīcā varēja gan tikt iekšā, gan arī atrast slēpni, tomēr iekļūšanas ceļš un veids nav tas pieklājīgākais - nav arī nepieciešams kādam iekulties nepatikšanās. Līdz ar to respektēsim piekarināto atslēgu un slēpnis izvietots ārpus baznīcas. Baznīcas apskate no iekšpuses katra paša atbildībā.
[EN] The abandoned Orthodox Church of the Nativity of Christ in Līdere. According to internet resources, the church was built in 1878, but during the mid-20th century, the Orthodox community in the area gradually disappeared, and the church was left neglected. Of course, the fate of any abandoned building followed - looted and vandalized. According to other sources of information, at some point (in the mid-90s), the community resumed its activities and there was a desire to renovate and restore the abandoned building, but this idea quickly faded due to insufficient funds. Currently, the community still exists, but probably only formally, as there is no information about worship or other active activities.
With this cache, I want to show what has survived here to this day. Although looted 60 years ago, there is still something to see here. Let's treat what remains with respect and reverence. Climbing up to the bell tower - very carefully. The last stage looks like it is held together only by the honor code, so I didn't risk climbing without safety equipment. Unfortunately, shortly after the cache was placed, a key was added to the church doors. Although you could still get inside the church and find the cache, the way in is not appropriate, and it is not necessary to cause any trouble. Therefore, let us respect the key that was added and the cache is placed outside the church. The exploration of the church from the inside is at everyone's own risk.
