To celebrate Geocaching Village Hall Week

LOCATION: Mottisfont SO51 0LX


We hope you can join us for a brief get-together on Tuesday morning to celebrate Village Hall Week. We will meet in the car park of Mottisfont Village Hall (accessed via Keepers Lane) where you will be able to admire the architecture of this fine building and its fantastic views over the Dun Valley.

The building was originally the village school. After it closed, it was renovated in the early 1990’s and has been in use as a Village Hall ever since. The large wooden outbuilding was originally a scout hut that was situated in the centre of the village. After being used as the Home Guard HQ during WW2 it was moved to its current location and used as a kitchen/dining area before being converted into storage space.

Mottisfont Village Hall is run by the Village Hall Association, a registered charity which run by a small group of volunteers from the villages of Mottisfont and Dunbridge.
