Crazy lead in aside, let's eat some cooked pig! Once again it's time to brave the drive to scenic downtown Hinckley for some good friends and conversation and maybe even a piece of smoked meat. No trading places required! Y'all see what I did there?
As frequent diners here can attest, some menu items tend to sell out early, so if there is something you must have it's probably best to call ahead and have it set aside. Or, as we learned in October, calling on the SUNDAY before. They are not open on Monday or Tuesday and last time even calling at noon wasn't early enough for some things!!! To be fair, they had a big order for lunch that day that cleared them out. That kind of situation hasn't happened before, but the motto is "It is what it is, it's gone when it's gone!" for a reason.
For those of the legal age, there are many adult beverage options. In addition to food there is an old school arcade. Perhaps there will be time enough for game or two of Galaga, assuming the arcade section is open and I have a few quarters to spare.
