Geocache Description:

29 January 2022, 13:00 - 17:00

29 January 2022, 1 pm - 5 pm

Time for another winter family potluck!  We have reserved the American Legion Hall at 825 Ronan St, Missoula, MT for Saturday, January 29th from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm!  Membership in MOOG is not required to attend, everyone is welcome!  Come and eat and play games!  Meet people you only know by funny names!

Potluck! Starts at 1:30 pm on Saturday, Jan 29th, 2022!

Please post what you are bringing.  Yes it will be indoors.  You will be able to keep your food warm.  Plates, napkins and and utensils will be provided.  Please bring your own serving utensils if your dish requires something to serve it with, there will be some available but not many.

Gift game!- 3:00 pm

Each player puts a minimum of 3 "gifts" on the table.  These should be wrapped. But they don't need to be expensive. Dollar store type stuff, Caching Swag, stuff kids and adults might like finding.

Now we stand around the gift table. Depending on the number of players, 2 or more sets of dice are passed around the the table. If you roll a pair on the dice, you can roll them again. If you roll a 1 or a 6 on either die, you can grab a present from the pile. If you roll both a 1 and a 6 you can grab two presents from the pile. Pass the dice to the next person, please do so before you grab your presents. When all the gifts are gone from the center, an innocent bystander sets a timer {3-5 minutes} and we continue the game. But note, if you roll a 1 or a 6, you steal a present from another player and then pass the dice. With three pair of dice or more going around the table, and an unknown time limit, the game goes fast and fierce. When the game is up, you can open your presents.

Don't forget to bring travel bugs to get them moving along, or any caches you wish to show off.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
