An outdoor event in December? YOU BETCHA
You may recognize my home coordinates from the 1996 film, Fargo, or hit FX series featuring thick Midwestern accents, white barren landscape, and the infamous woodchipper scene (we have the original on display!). While the accents are mildly accurate and it is pretty flat, everything else is completely unexpected – or as we like to call it, North of Normal. With relocation on the horizon, I'm hosting an event in honor of the Midwest.
OH, FOR FUN
Regardless of where you stand on important issues like ranch dressing, hotdish, and pot luck etiquette, you're invited to grab your warmest mittens and join me on Tuesday, December 7 from 4:30-5 p.m. at Solstice Plaza. There is no agenda besides socializing but I'll likely express my love of Gilby, a rural North Dakota community nicknamed Disneyland for geocachers.
OPE, THERE IS MORE
I will have several Midwestern-themed prizes (e.g. bomber hat!) to randomly gift around 4:50 p.m.
Post-event, I plan to walk to the nearby brewery for a happy hour beverage and I'd love the company 🍻
