As I will (hopefully) be in the Bexleyheath area this morning, collecting some more Church Micro caches, I thought that it would be be a good idea to hold an event here. As today will be the 14th Anniversary of the placing of the first Church Micro, it’s obvious that it must be a Church Micro Anniversary Event.
We will meet outside the Bexleyheath Christ Church in The Broadway. There is no cover here but if it is raining, we could retire to a nearby cafe.😀 There are a number of Church Micros around here as well as a plethora of caches in the nearby Danson Park. I shall be there (in my Lincolnshire Mega shirt) hoping that I am not on my own and that it isn’t raining.🤔
So why not come along and join me. It would be good to put faces to the names that I have only come across in Geocaching logs. There will be a logbook and a TB bucket in case there are any for discovery and swapping. Come and sign the log, swap or discover TB's, have a chat, and maybe have a cuppa.
As for parking, most of the local Council car parks seem to charge even on a Sunday. However I have cached in Bexleyheath and Welling before and I do not recall having much problems finding free on street parking. However this may have changed in the last 18 months.
