Willow clearance in the pond at Horsbere Brook
CITO 2021, Season 2
Attend a CITO from 1st September through to 30 November to grab a season 2 souvenir.
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet us near the footpath gate or look out for the Countryside Rangers truck
What: We will be cutting back the regrowth of the willows on the pond, wellies are a must!
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Please ensure you log your will attend so that the ranger knows how much equipment to bring with her.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We are encouraging indivdiuals to work in their own groups and socially distance where possible. We ask you to bring your own gloves and where possible tools, so if you have a saw, secateurs or loppers that would be fab. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply. Lastly, definitely don't forget your wellies!
