This War Memorial is dedicated to the fallen of the village of Great Holland. It was designed as a drinking fountain which was fed by the village well, although is no longer functioning as a drinking fountain, but is an important memorial to the village. The list of names of the soldiers who lost their lives in both the First and Second World Wars can be found in All Saints' church, just a short walk away.
