This Cross of Sacrifice is dedicated to those who gave their lives during the Second World War.
Except for not having an inscription, it is identical to another Cross of Sacrifice, on the other side of the cemetery, which is dedicated to those that gave their lives in the First World War. This can be found in the waypoints and is located near the Manchester Regiment Memorial.
The inscription on this reads:-
THIS CROSS OF SACRIFICE IS ONE IN DESIGN AND INTENTION WITH THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN SET UP IN FRANCE AND BELGIUM AND OTHER PLACES THOROUGHOUT THE WORLD WHERE OUR DEAD OF THE GREAT WAR ARE LAID TO REST
THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
