It's time for the 8th Annual Berea Chamber of Commerce Geocaching Weekend!
What better way to continue our traditional weekend of geocaching fun in Berea, KY than to send geocachers out into the night for an expedition in the dark!
Each year we add more caches to our Official Berea Chamber of Commerce GeoTour. This night-time event enables you to be in Berea, KY and ready to search for our new caches as they launch (we have geocaches scheduled to publish after dark). This Saturday night event will be held in the parking area of the Berea Artisan Center off Exit 77 in Berea, KY.
Join us to meet and greet geocachers from near and far. Go solo into the night or gather a small group to make your night time exploring more exciting. Make new friends and learn fun facts about your fellow geocachers who attend. If you've never geocached at night, you don't know what your missing - there's a whole new level of difficulty to navigating challenges in the dark, or is it possible that some might be easier to find at night???? Join the event to find out. (Helpful tip: Bring your geocaching tools of the trade (plus a blacklight flashlight and a regular flashlight) and dress in layers as this is an outdoor event and the weather in KY can change daily.)
This event is in conjunction with a weekend-long schedule of events (like a Community Celebration Event (with a special virtual souvenir), a daytime caching event, and a CITO) that you don't want to miss! The Berea Chamber of Commerce in Berea, KY is host to an Official Geocaching GeoTour. Each year we add geocaches to the tour. Each year offers a specific passport, with specific caches to find and tasks to accomplish (we call them Expedition Guides). All of our previous years' passports/guides and their related souvenirs are still available. The Berea Chamber of Commerce encourages you to complete these as you make visits to Berea, KY and take pride in earning our locally artisan crafted souvenirs.

Friday October 15th: 8-10pm / Community Celebration Event at Berea City Park (picnic shelter behind pool) *log separately
Saturday October 16th: 8:30am-9:30am / Daytime Caching Event at Berea Chamber parking area (424-B Chestnut St in Berea, KY) *log separately
Saturday October 16th: 6pm-7pm / Nigh-time Caching Event at Berea Artisan Center parking area (200 Artisan Way in Berea, KY)
Sunday October 17th: 9am launch / CITO Event meeting at The Pinnacles parking area (2047 Big Hill Road in Berea, KY) *log separately
Sunday October 17th: 2pm / Grand Finale Awards Ceremony (location announced at event)
