LV: Daugavgrīvas mols ir būvēts 1880. gadā un tas stiepjas jūrā ZR virzienā tikpat tālu kā upes labajā krastā esošais Mangaļsalas dambis. 19.gs uz mola atradās katordznieku cietums. Raibu vēsturi piedzīvojusi Daugavgrīvas bāka, kas rāda ceļu Rīgā ienākošajiem kuģiem. 1582. gadā pie jaunās Daugavas ietekas pēc Stefana Batorija pavēles uzcēla pirmo bāku. Gadsimtu gaitā tā daudzkārt nopostīta un atkal atjaunota, tagadējā bāka ir būvēta 1957. gadā. Būtiska loma apkaimes attīstībā bija 1873. gadā celtajai Rīgas – Bolderājas dzelzceļa līnijai, kas stiepās līdz Daugavgrīvas molam. 19.-20.gadsimta mijā vietējām vajadzībām Daugavgrīvas teritorijā izbūvēja arī vairākus dzelzceļa atzarus.
