“The Geocaching International Film Festival is an annual showcase of the creativity of geocachers through short family-friendly films. Submitted by geocachers worldwide - for geocachers - each film is up to 4 minutes long. The finalists are being chosen by a Geocaching HQ panel of judges. The entire film reel is approximately one hour long.”
Do you want to view and vote on the best GIFF films submitted this year? Of course you do. Here is your chance to see the films that are in the final competition for the best films and cast your ballot for your favorite one. Local geocachers, RetiredGuy, yukionna, and sloth96, have submitted a beautifully produced film that has some familiar faces in it. Unfortunately it was not chosen as a winner. You will have the opportunity to see it anyway.
We will provide pizza, soft drinks, chips and cookies (all but pizza will be in individaul servings) as well as take care of the hall rental. This is a free event, but a $10.00 contribution would help us to cover the costs.
