St Tysilio's Church
St Tysilio's is an Anglican Church is set in a small, rural village of Bryneglwys, North East of Corwen, North Wales. It is a Grade 2 Listed Building, with Stone walls & Black & Gold Iron Gates, set upon a hill above a small river. It is one of the 12 Churches in the Valle Crucis Mission Area. There has been a Church on this site since the 7th Centuary, but the current building was built in the 15th Centuary and restored in 1570 & 1875, by the late 16th Centurary, a window was removed to allow a Porch to be added, with a side door to the Elizabethan Yale Chapel, which over lies the Family Vault. The Bell was recast in 1735. In 1878 the steps and base of the Preaching cross were still in existence in the Churchyard but were removed in 1926 when Electric Lighting was installed.
