Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. If you go there, you'll  proabably get wet and/or arrested.

You are probably a Boomer if:

  • You remember visits from the Fuller Brush man
  • You (used to) know how to diagram a sentence, though you still don't know why you had to learn how to diagram a sentence in the first place
  • You know that Micky Dolenz was "Circus Boy" before he was in The Monkees
  • Two words:  Poodle skirts
  • You learned how to do calculations with something called a slide rule
  • You remember when Kmart was just Kresge's "Five and Dime"
  • You could buy a McDonald's hamburger for that five and dime
  • You wish more caches were hanging in trees and bushes so you wouldn't have to bend down so often to find them

This is the Motown version of the Doo Wop version of this puzzle. This puzzle ought to be a somewhat easier to solve if you're a Boomer... providing you can remember what the answers are! Millennials... try asking your (grand)parents.

The actual coordinates of this cache are N 33 35.ABC W 111 51.DEF. All you have to do to solve this puzzle is listen to the six tracks in the left column below, figure out the title of the song that each one introduces, and plug in the title's corresponding digit from the right column. Whether you've ever heard of 'em or not, ALL of these song titles, even the ones that aren't used, were Motown hits back in the day.

TRACK TITLE DIGIT
Track A Baby Love 4
Track B Dancing in the Street 8
Track C Heat Wave 6
Track D I Heard it Through the Grapevine 2
Track E Just My Imagination 1
Track F Midnight Hour 7
  Midnight Train to Georgia 5
Reach Out I'll Be There 9
  Respect 0
  Tracks of My Tears 3

A dollar for FTF. That's about what a 45 RPM single cost in those days. You do remember 45 RPM singles, don't you?

Congratulations to VW_WLFZBRG for FTF!
