Geocache Description:

Village signs is a series of geocaches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up. Whilst technically not a village Epping does have a sign and in fact it has two one at each end of the market town!

Epping is a market town and civil parish in the Epping Forest district of the County of Essex. It is surrounded by the northern end of Epping Forest, and on a ridge of land between the River Roding and River Lea valleys. The weekly market, which dates to 1253, is held each Monday. Epping is twinned with the German town of Eppingen in north-west Baden-Württemberg.
