since all the usual hosts for these dinners have been off gallivanting in caribou land, on permanent vacation or otherwise indisposed, it is time for the second string; Sox and i are co- hosting this months whats for dinner. it would have been published sooner had i been aware of our hosting it before yesterday, so i hope you still can find time to stop by for a bite to eat and catch up with what we all have been up to.

Jimmie's Ice Cream and Grill

while i have not been to this eatery, Sox says it is a local favorite and there have been a few events here in the past. kind of like truck stops- if geocachers go back for seconds it's got to be good. the menu is usual take out fare, and apparently pretty tasty ice cream for dessert. there are outdoor tables so lets hope the weather is favorable- if it is forecast to rain, we'll hold the dinner on wednesday the 21st, same time.
