War Memorial Long Eaton.
This is a war memorial cache a tribute to those who have paid the ultimate price for their country.
It is mainly dedicated to the 2 world wars but is also there for other wars to be remembered as well.
Sir John Ninian Comper - RA was the Architect of the memorial and it was unveiled on the 23rd October 1921 and was attended by Lt Col. C Herbert Stanley and was dedicated on the same day by the Bishop of Suffragan of Derby.
The cache is a multi and a magnetic nano and due to the proximity of other caches is a short walk away.
To find the cache you simply have to do some simple maths
To the left of the war memorial as you look at it there is a red post box with a postbox number NG xxx the 3 numbers should become ABC and then below work out your location

Please be aware that between you and the cache there are some busy roads and if you have geo pets or children with you, you will need to look after them. The area does get busy so stealth is required at all times.
