Sturton by Stow War Memorial was unveiled on 5th March 1921. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Lincoln, Right Reverend Dr Swayne. The memorial was a gift from Major Molson MP and the Sturton, Stow and District Old Boys Society. It was designed and erected by M. Tuttel & Son of Lincoln at a cost of £340.
The memorial is a 3.5m tall Celtic cross of grey granite with red granite panels. The whole thing weighs over 1 tonne.
