ST PETER, TORKSEY
St Peter, Torksey is a Grade II* listed buiding, achieving the status on 16 December 1964.
The building was constructed in the C13th and C16th with the nave, aisle and chancel being rebuilt in 1821. The structure of the building is a western tower, nave, north aisle, vstry and chancel.
All the fittings are C19th and C20th except for the font which is C13th. The font is an early C13th tub which has a zone of stiff leaf decoration around the top, a hobnail band around the middle, it sits on a C19th pedestal.

Look for the grave of Elizabeth, who shares her surname with a city in West Yorkshire. The year she died is ABCD.
