Thurgarton War Memorial was erected and dedicated in 1919. It was donated to the village by Mrs Upton of Thurgarton Priory as she lost two of her grandsons to the war who are both dedicated on this memorial. It is situated within what was once the village pinfold. The memorial was restored and rededicated in 2010. It is made of white Portland stone, stands 10ft high and has three octagonal stepped bases.
