🎲🎲 It's Bunco Time!! 🎲 🎲

When I lived in Coeur d'Alene, we were involoved in a monthly Bunco group where 12 of us would get together on the 2nd Friday of the month to play Bunco, have a potluck dinner, and visit. It was tons of fun and Airrooster and I really enjoyed Bunco nights! Through the years, the members changed and, unfortunately, after 3 or 4 years, our Bunco group disbanded from not having enough reliable members. Airrooster and I miss having Bunco nights, but we don't miss having to go to different people's houses (or trying to find someplace for the Bunco game due to members not wanting to host), having folks cancel every month, etc. So we have decided to try a new format for Bunco ~ Geo-Bunco of course!! LOL!! 🤩

What does Geo-Bunco look like?:

♦ Instead of the typical Bunco group having the same 12 members that need to be consistent and reliable, we are going to host a Bunco Geo-Event every month. No need to be able to attend every month! Whoever wants to come is welcome! We can play the game in many different amounts of players from 4-however many!! (Generally in increments of 4) Want to come and NOT play Bunco?? Yep, that's cool too! Come visit, eat dinner, discover trackables, play other games ~ whatever!! It's a time to gather, see your Geo-Buddies, talk geocaching, and meet new Geo-Buddies!!

♦ Instead of the typical Bunco hosting where each month is at a different member's house, it will always be here, at RoosterFrog Estates ~ so no cleaning up for anyone other than us!

♦Instead of the typical food assigning that goes on in Bunco groups (there are a couple different ways Bunco groups usually do this), we will be having a potluck dinner each month. Every month, in the event description, I will post what we are providing, and everyone else can tell us what they are bringing in their Will Attend logs!

♦Instead of paying a small fee to play (our Bunco group paid $5 each member each game....that $60 would be split up to 5 different winners at the end of the night), we will have an OPTIONAL geo-swag exchange/prizes for those 5 winners. NOTE: Just like our geocaching Christmas gift/ornament exchanges, you are more than welcome to play the game and attend the event without participating in the geo-swag winning! How will this work? Whoever wishes to participate will bring something for the winner's pot ~ a cache container, TB, geo-swag,TOTTs,...whatever!~ and the five winners will get their picks of the winner's pot. After those five winners have chosen their prizes, those who did not win, but had brought something to participate in the prizes, will get to pick an item as well. So what does winning get you? First through fifth pick of the swag! You have 5 chances to win ~ (1) Most Buncos (2) Last Bunco (3) Most Wins (4) Second Most Wins (5) Biggest Loser. Yep, you even win for losing!! 🏆

♦ Special months (such as December, October, etc.) will sometimes have extra things going on such as Halloween Costume contests, Christmas gift exchanges, etc. that will be completely optional for participation! Underneath the event details on the event write-up, you will see a section labled "June 2021 (or whatever month it is for) Bunco Game:" ~ this is where you will find what the host is providing for the potluck and if there is anything special going on during the Geo-Event. Don't know how to play Bunco?? We'll teach you!! It's a pretty easy dice game....if you can count and roll dice, you are already half way there!!

Event Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Or whenever people feel like leaving. LOL!)

Event Activities: BUNCO!! Potluck dinner, Visiting, TB Discovering, Board Games, and Card Games.

Event Location: RoosterFrog Estates! (3210 N. Old Trails Rd. Spokane, Wa. 99224)

What to Bring: (1) Something for the potluck (2) We have enough seating for 18-22, but if we have more attendees than that, you may need to bring a camp chair (3) A drink for yourself if you'd like something specific (4) A smile of course!! 🙂

July 2021 Bunco Game: This month we will be bbqing! The host will provide hamburgers and polish sausage dogs for the main dish for July 2021's potluck dinner.

Also ~ It's Independence Day Month!! ✩✩ Wear your Red, White, and Blue if you'd like to be festive! There will be a "Most Patriotically" dressed contest!! ✩✩
