A new coffee shop has opened recently in Brisbane, and I thought its name was too good to not hold a geocaching event!
When: 07:30-08:00 hr, Tuesday 14/09/2021.
Where: Ground Zero Coffee, 179 North Quay, Brisbane Qld 4000.
RSVP prior to Sunday 12/09/2021 to assist with numbers, so a tentative booking can be made with the venue.
COVID-19 safe capacity:
When queried about the COVID-19 safe capacity, the venue was not sure, but confirmed that the venue had a floor space of 200 m^2. As per Queensland Government Health requirements, effective 11/08/2021:
... subject to permitted occupancy under such other regulations or legislation, a business may have an occupant density of 1 person per 2 square metres without ticketed or allocated seating or, the business may exceed this density if all patrons are in ticketed and allocated seating ...
These restrictions will be enacted on Friday 20/08/2021. Consequently, the venue can hold up to 100 persons, which is above the Queensland Regional Policy Wiki requirement for the venue's minimum capacity of 80 persons.
COVID-19 mitigations:
- All attendees will be expected to sign in their contact details for traceability purposes only (via QR code); and
- Hand sanitiser will be available.
Note: This event may be cancelled at short notice due to COVID-19 concerns.
This event was previously scheduled for Thursday 1/07/2021, and again for Thursday 5/08/2021, but due to the change in COVID-19 restrictions for businesses, was postponed.
