I have been liaising with a few locals, who recommended Valour Park as a good candidate for a CITO. So, this Sunday morning CITO will be targeting the cleanup of litter and rubbish in the area.
When: Sunday 20/06/2021, from 07:00 - 08:00 hr.
Where: 881 Federal Hwy, Watson ACT 2602
Rubbish bags will be provided, but please bring PPE, gloves, and wear appropriate covered shoes.
We will take rubbish bags away for appropriate disposal later, however the council will be contacted for support should large items be found (e.g. shopping trolleys, mattresses, etc.).
COVID-19 mitigations:
- The CO event host is a South Australian COVID-19 Marshal (Certificate No. 7745537);
- All attendees will be expected to note their contact details for traceability purposes only; and
- Hand sanitiser will be available.
This event may be cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances relating to COVID-19.
