NEW LOCATION FOR THIS EVENT
As it is the school holidays our park is often quite busy so I have taken the decision to move the event to the:
BELL BUNYA COMMUNITY CENTRE. - an undercover venue
the New Co-ordinates are S 26° 55.769' E 151° 26.900'
This new venue provides us with undercover meeting venue, BBQ and the amenities all of the Community Centre.
Hot drinks and food are available to purchase, however BYO is still ok.
COVID-19 Check in will be required.
BYO - a chair, maybe a picnic table, food and drinks.
Bell, Queensland is a small town 40kms north of Dalby on the Northern Darling Downs. We are situated on the Bunya Highway 80km south of Kingaroy and nestled into the western foothills of the Bunya Mountains.
Bell has over the years had a few geocaches available but in recent years only 1 has endured, which is in our cemetery. (there is a pun there, but NO, I am not going to say it!)
Speedmistress moved to Bell 18 months ago and discovered a family across the road, whom she had made friends with were also geocachers. So the partnership has grown and now we have decided to put Bell on the geocaching map.
Your job, should you wish to accept the challenge, will be to visit Bell (maybe for the day OR maybe for the weekend) and complete the smorgasboard of caches that will be available prior to and on the day of our "Welcome to Bell" event.
Accommodation in the area is serviced by our Local Caravan Park and 3 Air B&B's. Of course on request there maybe a few other alternatives should all the other accommodation be full - ask Speedmistress.
Meals at night are not available in the town unfortunately - however we maybe able to organise something if there is enough interest.
