Bassingham War Memorial is constructed of polished red Aberdeen granite. It stands a total of 15ft high and contains the names of the 29 men of the village who never returned from WWI and WWII.
The memorial was unveiled in 1920 by Col. E. Royds and was constructed by M. P. J. Boulton at a cost of £211.
