Geocache Description:

26 June 2021, 11:30 - 13:30

EDIT:  WE WILL BE MOVING THIS INSIDE THE LOBBY.  Enter through the main glass doors by the circle drive.  See announcements.

Come enjoy food and fellowship with other geocachers! Get reacquainted with those you know & meet some new to the game.

Formerly T'nH from back when we did geocaching with our kids, it's been a LONG time since I've seen any of you!  I occasionally did some geocaching here/there over the years especially while traveling, but the kids are now in college.  I decided last February to get back into it and was eager to attend some events to reconnect those names to faces. Little did I know that wouldn't happen any time soon.  It's time to change that!  The plan is to meet outside to help mitigate any lingering public health concerns.

WHAT:  MEET & GREET (Bring Your Own Lunch*)Pavilion and playground area

WHEN:  Saturday, 11:30AM-1:30PM

WHERE:  See Coordinates.

  • We plan to meet in a fenced-in area with a pavilion, a few small grills, a playground, and room to spread out if desired.  Feel free to bring lawn chairs or a blanket if you'd prefer.
  • We will have easy access to the bathrooms & the lobby/coffee bar area will be available for anyone needing to cool down (no coffee there, sorry.)

MORE DETAILS (an update will come later):

  • If desired, bring your own lunch or use the grills on site (3 small grills available).
  • Ice, water & cups will be provided.
  • Dessert will be provided.
  • For geocaching before/after the event, part of the Searcy Bike Trail is just up from the church (Bike Trail Map).  We are also close to the Downtown Searcy area  . . . don't forget the three Adventure Labs that can help you meet your Science of Discovery souvenier goals!  Drive down past the bike trail and you will find Riverside Park . . . and of course, besides geocaching & the beautiful views of the river, check out the CITO that will occur earlier the same morning (GC9BX2V).
  • In case of heavy rain, we can move inside.
  • "While masks are not required for this event, please practice social distancing if you have not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 more than 14 days prior to this event."
  • "Please do not attend if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 (symptoms of COVID-19), if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or if you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the previous 14 days."
