New Year's Day 2021
with Loch Cache, friends and family
on July 3, 2021.
Since we could not have our New Year's Day event on New Year's Day due to COVID, we decided to hold it exactly half a year late! Although July 1st is 6 months after January 1st it is only the 181st day of the year. July 3rd on the other hand, is the 183rd day of the year and therefore, the half year mark.
A New Year's Day party has an annual event at the Loch Cache household for many years. This is the tenth year it has been a geocaching event as well. Please mark will attend so we can gauge how many people we will have in our home that day. Keep in mind there will also be non-geocachers attending as well but we'll still have some geo-fun!
The NYD party is always something I look forward to every year. A chance to see all my old friends (and young ones) as well as meet new geocachers. I hope to see lots of people on New Year's Day in July! (July 3rd)
COVID related notes: We will follow whatever the state COVID guidelines are at the time of the event this includes wearing masks if necessary. The main location for the event will be my backyard where we can maintain a safe distance if needed. I will respect anyone's wishes as far as masks and distance goes. If the state has a limit on gatherings on July 3rd, that limit will be maintained. When in doubt, mask up!

Please bring: Other food or drinks to share, a camp chair for outside, a friend or family member or two.
All are welcome to attend. Bring friends, fellow cachers and even strangers if you'd like. There will be special activities planned to celebrate the new caching year and other surprises.

Every New Year's Day I try to place a Trad and a Mystery well as host an event. You don't need to come to the event to find the Trad or the Mystery cache. Keep an eye out for them.
