Nice easy cache and not too far from the station. Please be wary of muggles at all times - stealth definitely required.
Poole station is now on the line from London Waterloo to Weymouth but originally the town's station was across the bay at the bottom of what we now know as the Hamworthy branch that ends in Lower Hamworthy near the ferry port. The current site originally opened in 1872, with a change of plot in 1971 and then a redesigned and remodelled building put back to where it stands today. Not far away, where the line crosses the High Street, is the Victorian footbridge that celebrates its 150th birthday next year!
